Granada, Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada, Valle de
Lécrin
Granada is one
of the most spectacular of the Andalusian provinces.
The beautiful city of Granada is famous for its’
Alhambra, the only Moorish palace
on European soil.
It is made attractive by the Sierra Nevada, Spain's highest
mountain chain, and the largest National Park,
with a unique nature. Don’t forget the proximity of the Mediterranean
Sea. One moment you can be standing in snow and the next
lying on a beach!
Le Chien Andalous offers properties in the”Alpujarras”,
a region famous for its typical white Moorish villages
such as Bubion and Pitres, located on the southern
side of the Sierra Nevada.
Here you can walk various routes such as the GR
7 and mountain trails, enjoy the peace and
relax and try some of the many restaurants, bars and shops in the
villages which are within walking distance of each other.
Orgiva is located slightly lower. Here we have some
bungalows with a swimming pool surrounded by olive
and orange trees.
“Valle de Lecrin”, or: “the
Valley of Joy”, as the Arabs called this region is
located south of Granada City. It is ideal for various
excursions to Granada; the beach;
or the Sierra Nevada. If you want to go skiing,
but do not want to stay at a ski-resort, we can offer
good accommodation in houses here.
