Cádiz. Pueblos Blancos
Sierra de Grazalema
Costa de la Luz.
Cadiz is the most southerly province
of Andalucia and it nearly touches Africa. The beaches
of the “Costa de la Luz” are amongst
the finest in Spain.
Well-preserved towns such as Vejer and Conil have
a marvellous location. Tarifa is one of the greatest
European surfing areas, because the wind blows more often than not.
Cadiz; Jerez de la Frontera and Puerto de Santa Maria
are historically rich cities. The Phoenicians,; Romans and Arabs left
their mark here.
Inland a visit to the “Grazalema Natural Park”
with it’s many cork oaks is a must. There are many white
villages set in an overwhelming nature, the best known being
Ronda, with it’s famous bullring
and the huge ravine which divides the town into two parts.
Le Chien Andalous has houses in “El
Bosque” and “Villaluenga del Rosario”,
near Grazalema and a short drive from Ronda.
They are ideal for walkers and rest seekers.
Near the coast, near “Conil de la Frontera”,
we offer some very nice cottages called “Finca El Olivar”.
